Difference between Passion and Compassion: They are two different feelings
Passion and compassion are two different feelings that any individual can feel. The meanings of both the words have some similarities, but they are actually different. Passion refers to a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement. On the other hand, compassion refers to a strong desire of connecting with others and lessens the sufferings of others. Compassion actually requires passion or it merely becomes niceness.
So what is the main difference?
Basically, passion is the internal feeling that prompts us to fulfill our own desires and wishes whereas compassion is the feeling we feel towards others.

Both of them go hand in hand. Compassion requires passion or it will become a mere niceness. Mere niceness works only in business relationships, but it tends to work against the deeper connection.
On the other hand, Passion also requires compassion because when something is chosen with passion, unapologetic ownership is taken of the feelings. Passion needs compassion or it becomes destructive. So to lead a happy life and healthy relationships, it is important to master some balance between Passion and Compassion.
