According to a report, Panama’s general attorney general on Tuesday raided the offices of the Mossack Fonseca law Firm to search for any evidence of illegal activities authorities.
Mossack Fonseca is a Panama- based firm, which is at the center of the “Panama Papers” leak scandal, which has embarrassed several world leaders.
The firm has been accused of tax evasion and fraud. The national police earlier said that that they were searching for documentation that would establish the possible use of the firm for illicit activities.
Although, after the raid no comments have been made from the company’s side yet but earlier founding partner said that the company had broken no laws.
