Indian Badminton sensation and star shuttler, PV Sindhu has made her place in the Semi- final round of Macau open Grand Prix after defeating Chen Yufei of China in a difficult women’s singles contest.
P V Sindhu is the only Indian in the women’s singles, Saina Nehwal is not participating in the tournament.
Two time World Champion Sindhu secured 21-13, 18-21, 21-14 to win over Yufei in a thrilling quarter final match, which lasted for 54-minute to secure a place in the last four.
At the same time, B. Sai Praneeth ruled out of the tournament after facing defeat from Goh Soon Huat of Malaysia with 16-21, 23-21, 13-21 match in men’s singles.
