Ola apologizes for Rs.83,000 bill
Kamal Bhatia, a businessman from Ghatkopar (Mumbai) went to Pune with his family on 4th September.
After he finished his round trip between Mumbai-Pune, he was handed a bill of Rs 83,395 for 7,000 km. The bill shocked Bhatia and for a moment he went “numb” on seeing it. However, after a long drawn conversation with the driver and the customer care, he was handed a bill of Rs 4,088 for the trip.
OLA
Bhatia later received a call from an Ola staff, who apologized and said that such a goof-up will never happen in the future, they also waived off the entire bill amount.
“Ola may have settled the matter to avoid litigation and complaints”- said a senior official from the state transport department.
