There is a mobile app to assist doctors with prescription, making it easier for the patients to follow instructions and to further improve the process of delivery at pharmacies have been developed by a Hyderabad firm Saince HealthTech.
The RapidRx, is a mobile-based electronic prescription application, is loaded with a database of almost 26,800 licensed drugs sold in India making it a unique concept, told Raghuvir Vedantham the president and CEO.
Now there’s an app, to aid doctors with prescription
The development of India app by the subsidiary of the Atlanta-based Saince Inc. is supposed to be promoted initially, by invitation, among the doctors in selected cities in northern and southern regions. Raghuvir also said that, on approvals the company was working with the Medical Council of India, Ministry of Health among the others to get the app vetted.
He also said that, the database of both branded and generic drugs provides information on their intake method and strength. Besides prescribing, the app also helps doctors by providing instructions about the dosage and duration for which the drugs need to be used.
