At the motor show held in Madrid from 10th May to 16th May; it was declared that la ciudad del taxi services have signed an agreement with Nissan to facilitate Madrid with 110 Nissan LEAF models.
Not only Madrid, cities such as Amsterdam and Budapest has also tested Nissan fleets like LEAF and e- NV 200. In addition to it, the regional government has took the step to promote zero omission mobility
by promising euro 20 million.

Gareth Dunsmore, head of electric, vehicles, Nissan Europe said that this step will majorly contribute in improving air quality which is deteriorating day by day.
LEAF shows the range of 250 kilometers on fully charged battery, marking 30kWh. Thanks for the ideal and compact size which makes it pocket friendly, four times cheaper than any other combustion engine.
Nissan has come under the best sellers list for electric vehicle in the world counting the global turnover 2, 20,000 units. Europe is excited to welcome world’s largest electric taxi.
