Netherlands packed down India by 3-1 in Hockey World League
Netherland preserved the top place in Pool B by a comfortable 3-1 victory over host country India in front of another crowded stadium on Day 4 of the Hockey world League 2015.
A first place end in the group means that the European Team will face the team that finishes fourth in Pool A in the quarter final stage.
India has finished fourth place in Group B, and will now face a tough quarter-final clash against the winner of group A.
It was a landmark day for two players, Dutch captain Robert van Der Horst and India’s V.R. Raghunath. Both are playing their 250th and 200th international matches respectively.
