While taking the round of the entire festival, we spoke to few restaurant’s manager to know their experience of being at the festival:

“Last time we couldn’t exhibit since we were late but this time thankfully we have got the chance. The foot fall of the people is so nice and I can see all foodies here. This is a perfect place for us and we are expecting a good turn up on Saturday and Sunday. Our outlets are located in GK 2 and Cyber Hub and are the pioneers in burger sliders and hot dog sliders in Delhi. We are expecting a good brand imagining from it”, Nitin Kumar, Manager, Smokey’s BBQ

Woks In The Cloud, one of the restaurants who mesmerized Delhi’s taste buds

“The main thing we are expecting is branding since we are quite new in Delhi. We are a Bombay based company and it is the first outlet here. We are enjoying Delhi and want to tell everyone that now we are here to do business. We specialise in pizzas and burgers and that’s what we are putting on front too,” says Ryan Rajput, Manager Indigo Delhi. The menu was quite different to what we come across usually. One of the dishes being Bombay Chicken Wings, in which honey layer sauce is used unlike Buffalo Wings which is spicy.

Shreya’s Kitchen, a place to treat your sweet tooth

Nitya Reddy, Director of Hyderabad House says, “I have been in the food festival last year and now I am displaying my own chain of eatery. It’s amazing the kind of crowd is coming over here. We are a QSR outlet who is into Take away, Catering and Home Delivery. We have the outlets in East of Kailash and Jungpura. The USP of Hyderabad House is that serve pure Hyderabadi Mughalai in Delhi which I am sure hasn’t been there till now and our must try dish is Haleem. People have been selling and eating Dum Biryani not knowing what actually Dum Biryani is like, so we are going to give Dilliwalas the best hyderabadi food ever,” We also had the opportunity to taste Haleem and we must tell you that it is actually a must try dish.

Hyderabad House, perfect place to have the perfect taste of hyderabadi food.

Shreya’s Kitchen on the other hand was a small but pretty stall with tasty desserts and dips. In conversation with us Shreya told us, “I do everything- from proper starters, dishes to desserts. I also take orders for parties- the strength could be 6 to Max 60 if it’s complete package of dishes and desserts but if more than that then I make canopies. I am not into customising since everyone is doing that these days and I also give cooking classes. My aim is to come into notice and just looking for work, now or future that’s not a problem. If you happen to come to Shreya’s Kitchen you must try-Sparribs and Carrot Cake.”

Other restaurants at the venue.

Swapnil Pandey, General Manager, Wok In the Cloud, says, “We are multi-cuisine placed in three places- Rajouri Garden, Khan Market, Punjabi Bagh and have a banquet in TDI Mall (Rajouri). I think such festivals are a good exposure for us and we also come to know about our standing in the market. If you are at Wok In The Cloud you should have- Double spicey fish, Bhatti ka Murgh, Burra Kabab and curries.”

If you are someone who really likes to experiment or relishes food which is simple but filled with taste and up for international cuisine then the best option available for you is Sakae Sushi. Fairly new in the market, Sakae Sushi has its outlet in Vasant Kunj’s Mall and is spreading across the city to make every Dilliwala a Japanese Cuisine lover. And yes, if you are looking for offers then you would be excited to know that Sakae Sushi is giving Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Sushi Combo meals at very special rates. The cuisine includes California Roll, Spicy Tune, Chicken Gyoza, Miso Shiru Tofu Soup and Sakai’s special burger. We had the opportunity to taste their Sushi which gave us not just the experience of taste but freshness as well. You realise that you are having fish because of the fragrance but the cucumber blocks in it gives this fresh feeling to your taste buds, so you must try if you happen to be at this outlet.

Overall, with the soothing songs playing in the background and even artists performing on stage, beautiful decoration to leave you mesmerised and Delhi’s soothing weather, all goes together making you enjoy every bit of the festival. So, do not wait and rush to the festival right away.
