When it comes to songs we all want to listen to some pleasant and soothing music. It has been a medium of expressing feelings since a long period of time.
With the passage of time, the meaning of music has changed in our Bollywood industry. Choices of people have been changed in the industry.
One World News found some interesting facts about the revolution of the music industry by people.
“Songs of our era had some magic in them brilliant composition and pleasant lyrics. Legends like Mohammad Rafi and R.D Burman have given evergreen songs to the industry”, says Alokinath Prasad, 65 years old.
“Music can never lose its importance in our lives but sometimes I feel that songs of this era have now become louder”, says Aruna Sharma, 30 year old.
“I love music and there are no specifications for it. I enjoy every kind of music not just soft but brilliant rap also. I think today’s music helps more people to connect with it”, says Richa Garg, 40 year old.
“Socho agar Honey Singh paida hi nahi hua hota, toh music industry ka revolution kaise hota?”
Honey Singh claims to have brought a music revolution in Bollywood. You can argue on it, but if we look at the trend in Bollywood he is x factor of all super hits in the industry.
His peppy songs are enjoyed by people from all walks of life.
Yes, it is true that music is altering in the industry; while some find it interesting and enjoy it others find that the music is losing its charm and meaning.
“I find old songs very boring, I don’t understand depth rather I don’t want to, but I love dance numbers and today’s songs are chartbusters”, says Romila, a 13 year old.
People from all walks of life enjoy music but they have different preferences and choices.
Booming singing talents have redefined music, they have made it so basic that now everyone can enjoy it and can connect to it. Now, it is not just restricted to set of people who appreciate the aesthetics of music. It has now become more popular and widespread.
On the other hand we can’t deny the fact that this trend has brought the level of music down.
“Music has lost its charm now, everyone can become singer. I have witnessed both eras but the best thing is that the true artists are always respected”, says Sonu Nigam
While researching on music lovers, One World News observed a particular pattern
People who were born in 60’s and 70’s have a specific choice and don’t even want to change it.
Kids from post 2000 love hard and rocking music as they find older composition boring.
Most flexible were the kids of year 80’s and 90’s they enjoy music of both era.
“Nothing is permanent in this world and if something is permanent that is ‘change’. It is right now happening in music industry and being a kid of a churning point I can connect to both eras”, says Manisha Rajor, 19 year old.
Music was, Music is and Music will always remain a medium of entertainment for all of us and would remain a vital part of our lives. It’s just that, its form has changed.
