50 year old Cindy Crawford took the modeling world by storm. She was a must in almost all the major fashion shows from Milan to Paris. Also she was the darling of famous brands like Channel and designers like Armani. In her footstep is her teen aged daughter just 15 Kala Gerber. She is already making waves in the modeling world and at 10 she was the face of Junior Versace. ‘I know my mother’s name count. Everyone days that my figure resembles to that of my great mother though height wise I have yet to achieve it,” Kala Gerber said.
Gerber born to Cindy and Rende Garber since beginning has had a passion for modeling taking cue from her famous mother. “No my mom never trained me it was all natural. I feel I am a born model and my role model is my mother and from younger generation I adore Gigi Hadid because she is a thorough professional.”
When she modeled for Teen Vogue at 13 Kala was flying in the heaven. She said to her friends that it was God send. “ I always consider Vogue is the stepping stone into glamour world for any teenager who is aspiring to become model.’ She used to circulate her photos taken by her brother Persley an aspiring lens man. “I used to wear my mom’s outfits for most of the shoot. She has a collection of branded clothes which she procured during her hey days.,” said Berber.
The other day leading modeling agency IMG signed a contract with her and Kala is set to enter in the modeling world with a bang.”It is my first ever contract and hope that will change my life for better”. She said. Her latest major campaign is for US label Chrome Hearts.
Though Gerber consider herself as born model, her eyes are set on Hollywood. “I love acting and already joined school to learn various aspects of acting.” According to a source she is already auditioned for hoLLywood.
Kaie is a foodie like any other teenager and her brother 16 is her best friend.
