Michelle Obama promises $70 Million for Pakistani girls education campaign
In a well attended function in the Blue Room of the White House, US First Lady was accompanied by the georgeous Mariam Safdar, daugther of Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif when she made a special announcement.
Greeting the participants with “Alekum Asalaam”, Michele spoke of the U.S. government ‘s support of $70 Million, which is to be used to help educate 200 thousand girl children in Pakistan.
These funds are expected to build atleast 12 new schools, revamp old facilities, and to improve the training of teachers to help girls in Pakistan to become entrepreneurs, doctors and teachers.
