Meghalaya Trending Nation in Health Care
Meghalaya Government signed an agreement with New India Assurance Company Ltd in which the beneficiaries will be able to get medical benefits up to Rs. 2 lakh.
The Health Minister, Mr. A. L. Hek outline the benefits as provided in the second phase of the successful Meghalaya Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS-II) at a function held at Shillong.
The Smart card insurance scheme also offers coverage to five members of a household and helps to reduce the rising cost of MRI and CT scan in all empaneled hospitals in the State and outside the State.
