Retired High Court chief justice Mukul Mudgal has praised New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum for exposing former all-rounder Chris Cairns in the spot spot fixing matter.
He said the International Cricket Council ( ICC) has laid down certain measures to counter match fixing.
He suggested that corrupt former cricketers should be relieved from their retirement benefits if caught doing something illegal.
According to McCullum, Cairns had approached him thrice to get involved in spot fixing.
