According to reports by Maruti Suzuki India, it’s mid sized sedan, Ciaz has finally crossed one lakh sales mark in the domestic market in June.

The car reached this cumulative mark two years after its launch day. Ciaz was launched in October 2014. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement that that they have sold a total of 1,00,272 units of Ciaz till June 2016
The Delhi ex-showroom rates of the model ranges between Rs 7.53 lakh and Rs 9.94 lakh. In the words of MSI Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, R S Kalsi,”Today, Ciaz is the largest selling sedan in the A3+ segment. It has enabled us to achieve a market share of 40 percent in the premium sedan segment.”
Kalsi also added that use of technological innovations like SHVS (hybrid) has made it even more attractive. In the first five months of 2016, the average monthly sales of Ciaz has been more than 5,000 units.
