Jitu Rai wins Gold Medal
Jitu Rai is a 25- year- old shooter, who competes in events of 10 metre air pistol and 50 metre pistol. Jitu Rai the Indian shooter, who is of Nepali origin won a gold medal in the 50m pistol competition at ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) World Cup.
The World Cup is currently being held in Bangkok. Wei Pang, the shooter from China came second in this event and Zhiwei Wang, also from China came third.
In the ISSF World Cup, 2014, Rai had won two silvers and one gold. He had won gold in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and Asian Games, both in 50m pistol.
