Jai Ho! Democracy

The moment you switch on your TV there is something or the other about the government or about the soldiers who are fighting for our safety on the border. How many times have we seen people getting involved in unnecessary drama and how many of us have actually thought what actually happens between the government officials and the soldiers at the border? Well, a lot of us have never really understood what the officials are talking about and in which language!

Raising a question on the kind of democracy and power we are enjoying, Ranjit Kapoor who in the past has written critically acclaimed movie- Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro is coming back on screen with ‘Jai Ho! Democracy’ which would have an ensemble of eminent actors like: Om Puri, Annu Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Adil Hussain and Seema Biswas. And no, media doesn’t remains out of their vision; the movie would also focus on the rat game of staying ahead by hook or crook. The movie is expected to release on 24th April 2015.

A lot of the scenes in the trailer might tickle a bone in your tummy but few might leave you with thoughts. Produced by Bikramjeet Bhullar of Indian Production House, the story of the movie is written by Ranjit Kapoor, Sreekanth Agneeaswaran and Bikramjeet Bhullar. The cast would be seen in the following characters:
