Amidst all the frenzy about the Men’s world cup and the loud shrieks of cheering for the ‘men in blue’ to win this world cup, there has been a rather silent but noticeable entry of the Indian Women’s Cricket team, who will also play their first match of the tournament today.
After a tight practice session on Monday, the Indian women looked calm and composed ahead of their first match against Bangladesh in Bengaluru stadium on Tuesday. Backed up with a lot of confidence after stealing the series from down under, the team looks formidable with their most experienced players in top form.
While majority of the Indian population holds high expectations for the men to get this t20 world cup, we believe that India will be a true champion when the women get us that trophy too!
