India is a country where no matter how much the technology develops the craze of watching the movie in theatres would never end. We all somehow love the magic created on the big screen, somehow it doesn’t matter if it is just fiction, we believe and hope that someday if not entirely a little of it might happen with us and maybe there is a happily ever after in the climax of everyone’s life.
The chilly beginning of 2015 with January is going to fill your weekends/weekdays with romance, anger, laughter, suspense, horror etc. since every week is getting a movie worth a watch for audiences of different genres. Here is the list of movies all set to hit the box-office and also to fill your weekends.
Tevar: Begin your year with Arjun Kapoor’s Tevar, who is all set to reveal his new attitude. This super-man who is a fan of Salman Khan in the movie would be seen playing the role of Pintoo and Sonakshi Sinha who is playing the role of Radhika, would be seen romancing and matching the dance-steps with Arjun. The audience would also witness critically acclaimed actor ManojBajpayee playing the role of an antagonist in movie. All set to release on 9th January 2015, the movie is a remake of a telugu movie- Okkaddu, starring Mahesh Babu and Bhumika Chawla. The movie is directed by Amit Sharma and is written by Gunasekhar.
Alone: A movie you cannot watch alone, Alone is a horror flick starring BipashaBasu and the heart-throb of television Karan Grover, who would be making his silver-screen debut with this movie. All set to release on 16th January 2015, the movie is directed by Bhushan Patel who has directed horror flicks like Ragini MMS2 and 1920: Evil Return. Originally a Thai movie, Alone has been remade in various languages earlier.
Baby and Dolly ki Doli: Same weekend, two movies, which one are yougoing to watch? We leave it on you for now. Well, Baby is a movie made on similar lines of Holiday as in, it is also about people who give out their lives to keep our country safe such as Police, Intelligence team and so on. Akshay Kumar would be seen again in a bold role flaunting his defense moves to save the country and its citizen. TapseePannu, earlier seen in ChashmeBaddoor, would be playing the leading pair of Akshay Kumar. Actors like AnupamKher, RanaDaggubati etc. would be also seen in the movie and is all set to release on 23rd of January.
Releasing on the same day is another movie called Dolly Ki Doly, Starring Sonam Kapoor and produced by Arbaaz Khan and Mallika Arora Khan; this rom-com movie is inspired by a true event. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of Dolly who gets married to two guys and elopes with all money, jewelry etc. Opposite to Sonam, sharing the screen would be PulkitSamrat, Rajkumar Rao and Varun Sharma. This is first movie of Arbaaz without the X-Factor of his movies- Salman Khan, let see how it is going to be.
Khamoshiyaan: Making the debut on the big screen is Gurmeet Choudhary, another television star who has also won the dancing reality show- Jhalak Dikhlaja season 5. He would be seen sharing the screen space with Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi. The film is an erotic love triangle directed by Karan Darra and produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt in association with Vishesh Films. The music is given by Ankit Tiwari and Jeet Ganguly and is all set to release on 30th January 2015.
