Interaction with Gabbar
Gabbar is back but this time to fight against a cause. A cause which is rooted deeply in our society, corruption. Akshay Kumar who plays the lead in his upcoming movie ‘Gabbar is back’ is someone who unlike the epic character of Gabbar in Sholay takes the path of violence to get system on line. As the poster says ‘Naam Villain ka Kaam Hero Ka’, Akshay would be seen in an empowered role wherein he becomes a fear for corrupt officials but a hero for public.
Continuing to speak about the movie and his character, Akshay expressed that he gained 13-14kgs for this role and had to grow beard to do justice to the kind of character he was playing. Adding to it, Shruti Hassan, who would be seen sharing screen with Akshay Kumar told us about her character of being a Junior Lawyer who is a Marathi Mulgi. In some of the places you will see her taking up the Marathi essence, from accent to dressing. She plays the role of a fun, young and energetic girl who happens to meet this guy accidentally but their relationship starts building gradually unlike the cliched way.
The incidents that one would witness in the movie are taken up from the happenings of real life and as expected from the action-man of the industry, all the action sequences are done by him. Talking about his future projects, Akshay said that he has started shooting for Singh is Bling and soon would start shooting for Houseful 3.
Commenting on if this movie would be a hit, he said “I do not make movie to enter the list of 100 crore but to entertain people. So, if my audience enjoys the movie, I am successful.”
As far as the title of the movie is concerned, Krish- the debut director of the movie said that the title was suggested by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, whose production house has produced this movie. He also added that it’s a story of a simple man who tries best to fight odds in the society however when he fails, he takes the path of violence.
The music of the movie has managed to get on to the chartbuster lists and Kareena Kapoor plays cameo role in the movie. The movie is set to release on May 1st, so be prepared because if you happen to miss it- Gabbar Aajayega (Gabbar would come).
