Intense work out could affect your sleep: study
According to a new study, intense bouts of exercise can cause significant and progressive decline is sleep pattern of an individual.
Scientists from Loughborough University have observed effects of two nine day periods of heavy training on highly trained cyclists.
The results were then closely observed and were found that cyclists spent more time during the intense training. They were indeed tired but extra time under the covers did not result in any more actual sleep.
Sleep efficiency was significantly reduced during the intensified training period; it was observed that athletes woke several times throughout the night.
