Indo-Pak series can be held in between 24 December to 5 January
If India – Pak series will get a green signal from Indian government this week, then a short bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan can be held in between 24 Dec to 5 Jan.
According to sources, in the Pakistan cricket board the tentative dates discussed for the series is meant for a short series of 3 ODI’s and 2 Twenty20 matches.
Sources said, “The series will be played probably in Sri-Lanka in such a manner that both the teams can leave for their tours to New Zealand and Australia straight from Colombo.”
According to sources, BCCI wants to give rest period to is players before the series against Pakistan.
“The PCB also has to contend with the fact that it is rainy season on Colombo in December and they will have to select the venues in consultation with Sri-Lanka cricket carefully so that bad weather does not affect these matches” sources said.
