Indian Hockey team clinched bronze medal in the Hockey World League
The Indian Hockey team clinched bronze medal in the Hockey World League tournament by defeating the number two team in the world, Netherland with huge margin of 10-goals.
The man who stood solid under pressure was the goalkeeper and vice-captain of India P. R Sreejesh.
Sreejesh not only saved the field goals and Penalty corners in the regulation time but was also stand like a rock in the penalty shootout.
After regulation time, the score was level at 5-5 and a penalty shootout is required to decide the winner.
The responsibility was again in the hands of Sreejesh to deliver and Sreejesh saved 3 goals out of 5 attempts made the Netherland.
