For the 12th successive year India scored the first position in the recently held Asian games with a total of 308 medals, which were held in India from 5th to 16th February 2016.
This victory though has raised the questions on the standard of the games, for now the game seems more dominated by the Indian subcontinent than ever before.
This year’s performance was considered the best in the 32 year old history of the games.
Sri Lanka came second with the distant 25 golds, 63 silver and 98 bronze.And Pakistan stood at the third position with 12 gold, 37 silver medals and 57 bronze medals
