From this year IIT Gandhinagar is going to open new branches of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programs for its B.Tech students. In this new course, students will be given practical knowledge.
Computer science and engineering students under the course will be made aware of the real problems with the applications so that after graduating from college students will face fewer difficulties while interviewing for jobs.

The new course of the faculty says that supervised readings, semester-long project, expert lectures, visits and courses Industry collaborations and visits shall also be included for students of that program.
Some specialization courses are: Algorithm design, artificial intelligence, machine learning, operating, Data Science, the Information Security.
