SUV Tucson is all set to go on sale in India
Hyundai‘s new SUV Tucson is geared up to go on sale in Indian market from next week. Tucson has been one of the most for seen models that are to be launched in the Indian market this year and will be positioned between the Hundai Creta and its flagship SUV Santa Fe.
Tucson to compete with other SUV’s
With just few days left for its official launch, the all new Hyundai Tucson was recently spotted at what seems to be a dealership yard, indicating its arrival soon.
After its official launch in India, the car will complete against the cars like Honda CR-V, Skoda Yeti and SsangYong Rexton and an expected price that the car seems to carry is of anything between Rs. 20 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The ‘Tucson’ named car is not new in the Indian market as its first generation model was launched in India back in 2005 but was discontinued in next five years (2010) due to its decreased sales.
Now seeing the sudden rise in demand for premium SUVs and sedans, Hyundai feels that it is an appropriate time to step into this growing segment. And the success of their new Elantra has been a major example.
