“Summers, despite being considered as an “evil” season, also gives us a chance to experiment with our looks. Be it an evening cocktail or friend’s day out you ought to look nothing less than special” suggests the expert. Besides excessive sweating and perspiration, late night parties in this season give us a chance to look our very best. “Here’s a shimmery yet summery look that can be worn at any of your next evening or social do’s,” says Gunjan incepting her tutorial.

“At the very foremost, take out an ounce of your makeup base, preferably powdery, and dab it on your face. Follow by patting on shimmery pan cake having a golden tint,” she instructs. Gunjan says that the reason behind opting for no less but glossy makeup at evenings is the boredom from the plain-jane look, carried all day long; because of heat and sweat – therefore, she recommends going a bit on a shinier side at least when the sun sets! “Now pick up a yellow shiny finish eye shadow and start applying from the inner corner of the eye. Stop in the middle of the eyelid and paint the remaining part with a juicy, glossy shade of orange – right till the outer edge and also above the lid,” describes Gaur further. She also warns not to forget basing-up the around eye area with a primer/powder which matches your skin tone, before applying the eye makeup.

“Now give a perfect finish to the eye-do by lining it with a thin streak of liner and coating the lashes with heavy mascara; now seal the look with applying a lip color of suitable shade” Gunjan concludes her tutorial. When it comes to the products being used for makeup for summers our expert prescribes nothing but waterproof or water resistant range of makeup, as no matter how dark it would be the weather may make you sweat as soon as you step out. “Although, it’s a sun-set look, one needs to take prevention by using waterproof products to stop our makeup being melted away – saving our grace!” advices Gaur, while she signs off. You may also play around with colors by using the shadow colors as vice versa, depending upon your mood.
So, don’t wait. Gear up to make yourself glitter all night at your next social-do and find all the flashes just on you! After all you are the “sun” for the night!
