A cartoonist’s job is to echo the plight of the masses. He has a grasp on the pulse of the masses. He expresses his frustrations with his cartoons and he is the spokesperson of the millions of voiceless. Through his cartoons, Sudhir Tailang, is illustrating various points with wit and satire.

He has concentrated on the various Prime Ministers that India has had from Rajiv Gandhi to the latest PM Narendra Modi.
He takes pot shots on various issues from corruption to caste politics to mass appeasement by different leaders.

His favourite seems to be the latest PM- Narendra Modi for whom he says, “I love this man! He is the kind of politician who we need in the country to keep the cartoonists busy”.
The exhibition was held at the India Habitat Centre from 2-11 November 2014.
