On Monday, the hot and stunning Bollywood actor, Rahul Dev, released the April 2014 issue of the Health & Nutrition Magazine- India’s foremost wellness, fitness and lifestyle magazine. The event held at Breathe fitness center in South extension, Delhi.
Rahul Dev, who is a popular Bollywood actor and has played number of villainous and supporting roles in various Hindi, Telugu and Punjabi movies, is owner of the gym and has done an exclusive photo-shoot and an interview for this magazine in which he reveals his workout routine, his diet and his challenges as an actor and a single parent. The event was also attended by the bureau chief of Magna publishers, MsMeeta Mishra.
Rahul revealed his secret of being fit, “I am very passionate about exercising, and I always do something to keep others fit. I think everyone should keep fit”.
Defining fitness he said, “I believe more in functional mode of exercising, which means that one should be able to handle his own body weight. In fact, the fittest person is he, who can handle his own body weight”.
Rahul tells that a human’s body, in its daily life,is constantly involved in six basic workouts, which are bending, lifting, squatting, lunging, pushing & pulling, and their workout should be around these six.
“One should be mentally fit before getting physically fit, and for that he/she should take complete sleep and should be able to handle stress,” he said. “There shouldn’t be madness for nutrition; one should take a normal diet, neither less nor more.”
Rahul was recently seen in a TV mythological series ‘DevoKe Dev Mahadev’ in a role of a demon, and is now looking forward for a film with director Tigmanshu Dhulia.
