Lucille Desiree Ball, the creator of the Iconic series ‘I Love Lucy’ was born on August 06, 1911 in USA. Credited with ushering a new Genre of ‘SitComs’, she became the darling of Millions, not only in USA, but across the world.
Her career started with Broadway and Hollywood in the 1930s. However, she found her niche with ‘I Love Lucy’ on the idiot box in the early ‘50s. After that there was no looking back.
She went to Comedy Heaven in 1911 after a long and illustrious career spanning over 5 decades, putting a smile on tens of millions of faces, across generations.
