Guddu Rangeela’s trailer out

Subhash Kapoor who has directed political satires like Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010) and Jolly LLB (2013) is again ready to make you laugh, observe and think with his upcoming comedy flick ‘Guddu Rangeela’. The movie is based on two cousin brothers Guddu (Amit Sadh) and Rangeela (Arshad Warsi) who runs an orchestra while moonlighting as informants for local gangs.

However, one fine day they are contacted by someone who gives them a lifetime opportunity to get ransom of INR 10 crore but all they have to do is kidnap a girl named Baby (Aditi Rao Hydari). Even after multiple warnings given by Rangeela, Guddu jumps in for the offer and in this journey they discover that Baby is estranged sister-in-law of Billu Pahalwan (Ronit Roy), who happens to have a connection with Rangeela.

Subhash Kapoor has also donned the role of a lyricist with the song ‘Mata ka E-mail’ which is sure to become the next way of pleasing gods. Aditi Rao Hydari would be seen playing a mute and deaf character on the other hand Amit Sadh, who would be seen on the big screen after Kai Po Che, will don a Haryanvi role. Apart from that, we would again see Ronit Roy in a very promising negative role and of course the ever energetic and spontaneous Arshad Warsi. The movie is produced by Mangalmurti Films Pvt. Ltd. Presented by Fox Star Studios and the release date is not out yet.
