The Gender Mela that was scheduled to start from 11th Feb in Delhi University have already begin. The Mela will see boys and men standing shoulder to shoulder with girls to bust the myth associated with gender equality.
The programme is hosted by Miranda House in collaboration with Men Engage Delhi, an alliance of NGOs working with males to promote gender equality.
The main aim of the event is to promote equality and stop domestic violence and create awareness among youths to take their stand said one of the volunteer of the event.
