FIRST LOOK OF ‘KATTI BATTI’

UTV Motion Pictures presents ‘Katti Batti’, an upcoming Hindi rom-com directed by Nikhil Advani and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur starring Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan in lead roles.

The trailer was out on 14th June and by the looks of it, the film looks very promising. It’s easy to make out that the film is about two people, Madhav (Imran) and Payal (Kangana) who are quite poles apart and share a live-in relationship and fall out of it after 5 years. Moving towards the end, it takes a tragic turn which has already intrigued many. The trailer, within a day, has managed to generate a lot of buzz reaching more than 3 lakh views.

About the cast:

It won’t be wrong to say that Kangana Ranaut is at her best this season. This can well be called some ‘500 days of Kangana’. The dazzling actor seems to have a gifted talent when it comes to playing bold and upfront roles too effortlessly. Be it ‘Queen’ or ‘Tanu weds Manu’ (both parts) or ‘Revolver Rani’, she has come out brilliantly and is known to be the actress who crossed the 100cr bar without any big banner or the ‘Khans’. The current film also has her delivering some hilariously candid dialogues flawlessly.

For actor Imran Khan, it’s a comeback after almost a year. When ‘Gori tere pyaar mein’ hit the ground as a commercial and critical failure, the actor faded away from Bollywood to take some time out and be more with Avantika Malik, his wife who was expecting at that time. Now, Imran has a baby daughter and is in a happy place. We hope he makes a brilliant comeback with ‘Katti Batti’ which will be a much needed one for him.

The film is scheduled for release on September 18th, 2015. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, we say go ahead; it won’t disappoint you a bit!
