First Day First Show: Rajesh Pratap Singh, A/W 15

The opening show by Rajesh Pratap Singh, was every bit worth of an opening ceremony that enthralled the fashion enthusiasts at The Amazon India Fashion Week 2015.

Structured and clinical, this collection celebrates life’s true stage and it’s characters. A stage where it all begins and where it all ends. This latest collection has fabric experimentation in the form of structured wool knit. The romance with Ikat still continues as a graphic play in wool-okay checks and stripes which have been hand woven in fine merino.

 

The autumn/winter 2015 look according to Rajesh has neat cuts in skirts, coats, jumpsuits and asymmetrical tunics. The collection overall has a very classy feel to it. Black being the winter color dominates the entire collection.

She calls it ‘A French Love Song.’ The Autumn/Winter 2015 Payal Singhal collection is all about pastels in dusk blue, rose blush and stone grey. The delicate and intricate embroidery surprised with an element of Zardosi leather appliques it’s something to look forward to.

 

Chiffons, Georgettes, satin and sheer fabrics in white, rose blush and soft pastels edorned with dabka embroidery for a truly stunning though classy bridal wear.
