First Cutoff is out!
Delhi University released its first cut off list for undergraduate 2015 admissions on Wednesday night.
After announcing the first cut off list, enrollment process will proceed for three days from 25 to 27 June. Students will have three days till the final call for enrollment. This year 7 cut off lists (if required) are expected to come.
There were a lot of problems faced by students while filling the application forms online.
So, to avoid further confusion, monitoring committees have been formed to help students and their parents during the enrollment process.
However, students will not be allowed to take admission in more than one college at a time lest they shall be barred from taking admissions in any of the Delhi University colleges.
For the convenience of students, the DU administration has initiated a swift procedure related to returning of documents. In case, a student cancels his/her admission, they can easily get back their documents.
Talking about cut offs, Humanities this year, saw the highest hike from 0.5% to 10%.
Finally, the wait is over. Some are happy, some are sad but all of them are super excited to welcome their college life.
“My aggregate is 95% and the first cut off today closed at 97.5% for Psychology Honors in Kamala Nehru College, but that’s okay I will get in the second cutoff and I am super excited for my college life”, says Radhika Srivastava.
This year, Hindu College kept 98% for Economics honors and I am happy about it. Though, I have not got admission in the first cut off but I am relaxed”, says Neha Singh
“Even after scoring an excellent result in CBSE board, Delhi University has made all ambitious decisiveness topsy- turvy. The prolong elevation in the cut offs from last years has trapped students into the viciousness of helplessness. Hoping a sharp decline in the next cut offs”, says Joshita Juneja
“Whatever college I get, the only thing matters that my new life is going start soon. New life, new friends, new clothes and of course my new phone”, says Bhavya Kapoor
