Zurich based soccer premier body FIFA has once again confirmed that elections for the post of it’s president will happen on Feb. 26, 2016.
This move comes after the unceremonious ouster of Sepp Blatter, who has ruled FIFA with a iron fist since 1998. Blatter was removed after a series of scandal rocked the body, bringing disrepute to it’s otherwise sterling image.
Prime contenders for the post are Ramon Vega and Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim al Khalifa.
