Festive sale brings Gala Time for Etailers:- Online shopping has brought new revolution in the world of shopping. Though, girls love to hangout at various shopping hubs, but it seems that youngsters are high on E- shopping fever. Festive season is on and e-commerce sites including Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon are once again offering crazy and cheapest deals to their buyers. From electronics to clothing are offered on the cheapest rate. Shopaholics are completely in love these deals and are buying lot of items for themselves. E-commerce majors Snapdeal and Flipkart claimed lakhs of transactions on their platforms on the very first day of the five day sale.

Super Profits
Amazon, a shopping portal which started its 5-days special sales on October 1, was quoted saying it has seen 6 times growth over its regular business. It has claimed to have sold 1 lakh product units in first 30 minutes. It’s really shocking!
We must say it is a “Great Festival Day” sale. Not only Amazon is reaping profits from the buyers, others are also on the same track. Snapdeal in a statement said that “Nearly 11 Lakh buyers from over 2,800 cities and towns across India bought at Snapdeal in the first 16 hours of the Snapdeal.” Snapdeal started its deal at midnight and per second 180 products were booked. Flipkart claimed that it sold over half a million products within. Flipkart also revealed that in the category of electronics Apple products were sold most. Snapdeal and Flipkart claimed providing products at large discounts. Snapdeal is running the sale as ‘Unbox Diwali’.
Complaints from consumers
Though these websites are offering great discounts on items, but some consumers on Twitter complained that they were hardly any discount on products that these companies are offering. Some media sites and Twitter accounts complained about glitches in Flipkart and Amazon payment gateways.
