England won the series against Pakistan, by thrilling 3-runs in Dubai in 2nd T20 international.
An outstanding innings of Pakistan skipper, Shahid Afridi of 24 runs off 8 deliveries, was not enough to chase down the target of 173 runs. Afridi also took 3 wickets for 15 runs in his 4 overs.
In the absence of Eoin Morgan, Jos Butler was the captain of English team. Only James Vince was the top scorer with 38 runs, followed by Jos Butler 33 and Jason Roy 29 runs, but still England posted an impressive total.
It seems easy victory for England, as Pakistan needed 53 runs in just 20 balls, before Afridi’s classy innings.
Only 11 runs were required in last 6 balls but England’s pacer Chris Woakes bowled brilliantly to ensure thrilling victory.
