‘Man is a social animal’ and to explore the relationships between Humans & Nature, this exhibition titled, ‘Social Animal’ seeks to explore different angles. ‘EAST-WEST’ Art Festival is an ambitious project of sharing experiment through the eyes of the next generation artists.

17 international artists ( including 7 Indian Artists ) across the globe, have come together to show their fields of experimentation through the variety of their artistic practices in many different genres (Street Art, Performance, Installation, Photography, Dance, Video Art, Painting ). And each one presents the masterpiece for the first time in India.

This exhibition has flavor and essence of both Indian as well as the western Culture. Program of exhibitions and cultural events are happening at ALLIANCE FRANCAISE de Delhi, JAPAN FOUNDATION, KOREAN CULTURAL CENTRE and NIV ART CENTRE, New Delhi, India, from 19th March 2015 to 12th April 2015. “In Indian and Western culture, as the industries are growing, we are forgetting the role that Nature plays. So, that’s why I selected the theme of nature. Trees are Very important part of Nature so I made Banyan tree in different colors which indicate that everything has its own importance in the world. Either it is nature or industries everyone is waiting for the chance to get the rid of one another,” says RINKU CHAUHAN.

Rinku Chauhan is a young artist who is passionate about his work and he has just completed his Masters from College Of Arts. This is the first time that his art piece is exhibited at International Level Exhibition. He has used Iron Rods, Waste Cloth and his optimistic creativity to create such a beautiful art piece.
