As the news surfaced among the students, the official website also witnessed traffic and as a result hanged, further making the aspirants wait longer to check their results.

Students after the NEET results got declared
Vaibhav Rai, a Doon based NEET preparation expert said that, nobody knows the reason behind this early announcement of results, but CBSE seemed to be quite generous this time.
In fact 1,71,329 candidates in the general category can get to know their score card this time, but students eligible for counselling need the minimum 360 marks in the general category while the cut-off for counselling has gone as low as 118 in the reserved categories.
D K Mishra, director of a coaching centre suggested that, the students who have qualified for the counselling should head for an expert advice, as many of the students are unaware of the complete requirements.
He also said that 17 of his students have also got under 10,000 rank and they are preparing them for counselling.
It is to be noted that around 7 lakh students across the country took the NEET this year, which is a two-phased single common entrance test for the MBBS, BDS and PG courses in Medical stream.
