Die and Suicide no more. Deadpool and Suicide Squad are here !
People have been dying for that one glimpse of ‘Deadpool’ and the comic fans would have soon committed suicide if not for the trailer of ‘Suicide Squad’. A treat meant only for those who were attending the Comic Con at San Diego became a treat for comic fans worldwide as footage of the two much awaited blockbusters saw their early trailers leaked online by overenthusiastic fans.
Both being two major DC Comics, the adrenaline of anticipation gave way to an equally ecstatic response by the audience. The trailer of Deadpool left the audience so spellbound that they couldn’t help but ask it to be played a second time.
Deadpool being played by Ryan Reynolds has three different modes in the movie: the face we’re used to, his totally suit-covered Deadpool face and his demolished post-chemo face. One thing Deadpool definitely did was leaving the audience dying of laughter as T.J. Miller quips in the trailer, “You are haunting. You look like an avocado had sex with an older avocado.”
If Deadpool trailer left the fans in fits of laughter, the trailer of Suicide Squad left them terrified. If Warner Bros productions in itself wasn’t much incentive to watch the movie, Jared Leto’s portrayal of The Joker left the audience gooseflesh and made them thirsty for more.
It is an epic time in the history of comics when the world’s most amazing DC comics are turning into equally amazing movies. Can’t wait for February and August 2016. I am already drooling !
