Researchers have developed an accurate method to calculate the possibility of diabetes in women during pregnancy.
Gestational diabetes is one of the most frequent conditions that can happen during pregnancy. Usually after delivery symptoms disappear. However, such women have been found to be at an increased risk of developing postpartum diabetes.
The possibility of rising diabetes within five years after delivery was about 11 per cent In the low risk category. In fact if we look into more details then we will find that 29 to 64 per cent in the average risk category with 80 percent in the high risk category.
