Tell us how you have started designing bikini?
We are from California and were staying nearby beach with our parents. We took inspiration from our designer parents and our love for beach helped us to take swim wear designing as a profession.
About inspiration?
We take inspiration from all walks of life. There is no specific. We incorporate all the things we daily see in our collections.
Tell about your great break?
It was in 2011 when Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition asked us to design for their shoot. As you know Sports Illustrated gives lot of mileage internationally because it was shot by famous photographers and models. The whole collections were flattering cuts with custom prints.
About the style of working?
Oleema looks after the designing part and Kalani’s focus is on business aspect of the brand. We create feminine pieces that suit every pocket.
About your kind of bikini?
In our bikini one feels best. One who wears our bikini on the beach in the waves, the most important part is that you should feel confident and comfortable both at same time.
Different from other branded Bikini?
Our products are from luxurious fabrics and modern fits. Each bikini is designed to easily mix and match for one of a kind of styles. Besides bikini we have ready to wear cover-ups, clothing for traveller and dreamer. Also we have one for people who love surfing.
About l bikini wear 2016?
For this collection we took inspiration from Hawaiian beach culture of 70’s and it has neutral colour palette and colour is khaki green. Our collection enhances beauty of a woman and we would see that our bikini gives women the confidence to feel sexy in their skin.
Who do you like to wear your bikini?
We would like to see women from California and internationally wearing Nikoh. We take pleasure in seeing women wearing our bikini and roaming on a beach.
