Dashing Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
The Pajero Sport gets Mitsubishi’s signature ‘Dynamic Shield’ styling with an X-shaped grille and LED daytime running lamps. The side profile of the new Pajero Sport carries forward the look of the earlier car, but the rear styling now gets triangular tail lamps which strangely carry on downwards.
This next-gen Pajero is expected to be a global one, and will feature a range of petrol and diesel engines. The primary engine for the new Pajero sport will be an all-new 2.4-litre turbo-diesel motor good for 178bhp and 43.85kgm of torque, routed via four-wheel drive and mated to either a six-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
The cabin is likely to share its basic layout with the Triton pick-up truck, but will come loaded with features including Apple’s CarPlay and Google’s Android Auto smartphone integration. Depending on the trim level, the Pajero is likely to offer add-ons like a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, keyless entry and go, powered front seats, powered wing mirrors, rear parking sensors and reversing camera.
