This year Jadavpur University is experiencing the best placement as the highest salary package offered this year went upto Rs1.1 crore.

Because of this, the mean becomes Rs 10 lakh which is a three fold jump from the earlier average of Rs 3 lakh. Asif Ahmad, a resident of Krishnanagar and a student of JU’s computer science and engineering department was picked by Google for a crore plus package for an opening in Singapore.
Asking Ahmad about the interview he said, “They asked me questions from my subject and I was well prepared. I knew the interview went well, but the salary package has come as a surprise”.
He received the confirmation letter in March and has been asked to join in September.
Apart from him, Vikhyat Khosla, a student of IT engineering received the next best package from Microsoft which was of Rs 30 lakh.
