The week long Smile International film festival got finally concluded as it conducted its award ceremony at Sirifort Auditorium in the presence of veteran actor, Jimmy Shergill, Suman Ganguly, Director of ‘Blue Mountain’ and Amitabha Singh, Director of ‘Shortcut Safari’.
Where the internationally acclaimed film ‘Celestial Camel’ won best direction award, Best feature film was bagged by ‘Birds of Passage’.
Jimmy Shergill was felicitated with a special award by Mr. Jitendre Mishra, festival Director SIFFCY. Speaking on the occasion, Jimmy said “I am really glad that through SIFFCY, different worlds of children got an opportunity to interact with each other. It’s such a good platform to recognize meaningful cinema from around the world.”
