Call Drops: Supreme Court declined any interim relief to telecom companies
The Supreme Court has on Friday refused to give any interim relief to telecom companies against the Delhi high court’s decision of upholding Trai’s decision making compulsory for the companies to pay the compensation to the subscribers for call drops from January 1st, 2016.
A bench of Justices Kurian Joseph and Rohinton Fali Nariman said that it’s a question of interim order . We will hear it on March 10th and as of now no interim order.
According to a report, court has asked senior advocate Kapil Sibal, who was appearing for the cellular operators, to take adjournment before TRAI, where they are supposed to appear on Monday.
