India’s partime bowler and explosive opener, Shikar Dhawan has been reported with a suspicious bowling action during the final test match against Proteas, which India won in New Delhi on Monday.
The report of the officials which was handed over to the team management, mention concerns about the authority of the off-spin deliveries of the Shikhar.
Dhawan’s bowling action will now be tested further under the ICC procedure relating to suspected prohibited bowling actions reported in Tests, ODIs and T20.
Shikhar is required to undergo trial and testing of his action within 14 days.
