According to a report, Blackberry Ltd is cutting 200 jobs in Ontario and in Florid to trim the costs as the company is planning to focus and laid emphasis on its enterprise software business.
Till now Company has not made any comment on what percentage of its workforce will be affected from the cut off but according to a filling, the company had 6,225 employees as of Feb 28th, 2015.
Notably, last year also in September the company laid off 200 jobs, they were the people, who had worked on the hardware and design of the BB10 devices. Despite of the positive review, the Smartphone badly failed in the market.
Currently, the company has shifted its focus on enterprise software and more aggressively licensing its trove of patents.
