It’s a news that every Indian, or so to speak, every crazy Indian football fan was waiting for almost four decades now. And it’s true! Football God and living legend Pele will soon be making a trip to India.
The last time Pele visited India was a long 38 years ago in 1977 with New York Cosmos to play Mohun Bagan.
The current trip is planned to take place between October 11 and 17. In this trip, the Brazilian star will be present as guest of honour for the opening match of the Indian Super League (ISL) where former cricket captain Sourav Ganguly will meet him.
Soon after, Pele will head towards Delhi for the Subroto Cup final on October 16. Everyone is eagerly waiting as we all know how exciting and awesome that week is going to be.
