Benelli Tornado unvelied their 302 bike at EICMA, Milan Italy, recently. After getting appreciation and rave reviews at the show, the company has decided to launch the bike in India around mid 2016.
Powered by a 300 cc 2 cylinder four stroke engine, with a torque of 27Nm and power of 35.3 PS, the 302 delivers power to the rear wheel through a six speed power transmission. This enables the bike to quickly zip to it’s top speed of 170 Km/Hr.
With a strong suspension, and 240 mm rear single disk, and 260 mm dual disc brakes, the bike comes safely to a halt with ease. A good ground clearance of 180 mm gives this 180 kg bike enough clearance to tackle most Indian roads.
The length of the bike is 2175mm, 746 mm widht, and 1146 mm height, with a wheelbase of 1146 mm.
The expected price ex-showroom is in the region of Rs. 3 Lakh +.
